I'M LOOKING TO FORM A JAMMY/BLUESY/LOOSE 60's/70's COVER BAND TO BEGIN WITH-NO PRESSURE! I'M NOT NECESSARILY SEEKING PEOPLE TO BACK MY ORIGINALS. THIS AD IS FOR ME ALONE, NOT THE OTHER GUY IN MY VIDS. I HAVE EQUIPMENT AND CAN GET PRACTICE SPACE.

Wanted: Older (50+) musicians who have equipment and the same degree of reverence that I do for Middle To Late '60s/70's rock, blues, and r+b, including Beatles, Stones, Byrds, Band, CSN+Y, CCR, Kinks, Who, Animals, Doors, as well as some early '70s such as Jackson Browne, Warren Zevon, etc., and maybe a very select few 80's and 90's (Like Petty, Pretenders etc.). The idea is to get it right first, then find a place to play it. Looking to form a "friendly" group that might get the occasional gig at a party, function etc. I'm more interested in a good attitude than in virtuoso talent. I would rather find Individuals than an established band, at present, but will answer all that respond. Not Interested in playing Punk, Metal, Christian, or most Country (except The Band, Buffet, and similar influenced music). I play rhythm guitar, can play a few blues licks, can sing lead or backup, (Stephen Stills type voice). I write and have some '60s sounding originals, including the youtube video below.
