The New Distractions, Denver band, have an unusual sound. Sometimes melancholy and sometimes introspective, it draws you in with its edginess and texture. Many songs are moody and yearning, while others are exciting and danceable. This subtle indie-rock, four-piece band features soulful vocals complimented by expressive, distorted guitar, keyboards, bass and drums.
