I sing melody and harmony since a child - I can read music but started guitar a few years ago - I play basic, but use it to find the key I need for singing. I bought a beautiful Upright Bass last June and have found that to be my instrument. I am able to pick up music quickly and have a good ear. I do not need sheet music to play. Now I play with people that live across the state, we send songs to each other, so my practice is usually with my ipod or computer - would love to have live, local people to play with at least once a week. Who knows what can happen....
I lead music at my Contemporary Christian Church once a week.
I love all kinds of music but would like to concentrate on bluegrass with a group. - Thanks for your consideration!
