I am interested in forming a KISS tribute band. Currently, there are no KISS tribute bands in the Columbia area so there is a niche to be filled. I am looking for a patient drummer and bassist that has vocal abilities and is available for practicing on weekends. You must be into KISS and willing to wear the costume, wig (if needed), costume (I can provide), and boots. We had 3 members who had been jamming regularly until September 2015. Due to a disability, I had to back off for an extended period. I have a fantastic lead guitarist that has been with the band from the start and he is still committed. I am ready to restart the band, but we are missing two key members who moved on due to job relocation and moving out of state.

I have invested quite a bit of money into a stage set, lighting, effects, lighted step boxes that light up in the colors of red, blue, and purple, wireless microphones, ear monitors, speakers, and top of the line sound equipment. It is quite impressive compared to what most start-up bands have.

My goal is to bring the most KISS-like experience to any performances that we do. I myself am not in this to make a lot of money. I am doing this for my personal fun. I love dressing up as Paul Stanley and playing and singing his songs. I am very big in doing charitable fundraisers and I hope that this band can be used to incorporate that.

I have created a public website for the band and the URL is kissanthems dot com. It needs a lot of work, but it was a start to get the website up and running. If it turns out that we can make this band magical and going, then I will hire a professional to have it updated.

If you have an interest in being part of this band and you are a bassist that can handle playing and singing Gene's songs, or if you are a drummer that has the chops to handle Peter's style and singing his songs, I want to hear from you. I am also looking for easy-going people that are easy to get along and collaborators and not dictators. We will all be collaborators in this endeavor. I will serve as the band's lead, but I am always open to opinions by all members.
