ABOUT

Greetings,
I have been playing off & on for 25 years, started as a teen playing metal in my brothers metal band but bought jazz albums or other.. Yes, ELP etc.
I've played in a request band years ago, we played 50's on up.
I love to play loud & fast but also have a great feel for latin & jazz.
so it seems that Most guitarists these days like grungey guitar and that gets boring after a while unless your exceptional at your instrument. I'm willing to work hard and have a band room already setup in my home. My daughter sings, plays piano and the bells.
I'd love to meet people that write like I do and start preparing some music for local events and private party's.
Lately I have been investing a lot of time and money into my music interests and would like to continue to meet local musicians that are interested in a Dave Mathews Band tribute or original composition.
\I am more interested in focusing on original music instead of covers however if covers are the startingplace, which they usually are, then I wouldlike to do them with distinction, not just because they are easy andwe can play them.
