ABOUT

Over the last 25 years I have played a variety of styles including Jazz, Old R&B, Rock, Country and Contemporary Christian. I have played 1st tenor with the Southlake Swing Band, many weddings and private parties with my own Jazz Combo, and many gigs with local Dallas bands and area Churches. I have also played recording sessions and taught private lessons in schools and my private studio.

Influences

My influences on saxes were Coltrane, Cannonball, Sunny Stitt, Sunn Rollins, Grover Washington Jr., Gene Ammons, Roland Kirk, Count Basie, Duke Dllington, Stan Kenton and many other Jazz Greats. The Blues Brothers,The Spencer Davis Group,Percy Sledge,James Brown,Delbert McClinton, Tower of Power,Bobby Bland, Grand Funk Railroad, Eagles, Al Green, Average White Band and others. My country and classical influences on violin/fiddle were Issac Stern, Vasser Clements, Johnny Gimble, Papa John Creech, Stephan Grapelli, Yehuda Meinuin, Ravi Shankar & others.
