I'm new to the New Port Richey /Tampa bay area and I'm looking to meet and jam with musicians in the area. I like and can play various types of music, but I'm looking to meet musicians who are into folk / psych sounds to jam, exchange ideas, and collaborate with. I write and sing my own songs and I am also equally adept at jamming to other people's songs as well. I also enjoy writing and poetry and like to do weird spoken word / music also. Before I moved to Florida I was in a heavy metal band which I sang and wrote lyrics for so I am very versatile, but I'm looking to do something more mellow, folky, arty, and weird at the moment. Damn I thought this was a free site to meet other musicians, but I just figured out that you have to pay to contact other musicians.
