I have been playing guitar for about 7 years but only seriously thought about playing professionally (or at least in front of people) for the past year. I have played some hybrid cover/my material shows here in Ames but nothing has taken off. I blame my level of commitment and am ready to take it to the next level.

Influences:

I love all types of music. I am not a "profound knowledge of music" person, but I know what I like when I hear it. I like some classical, country, classic country, rock, southern rock, and recently some alternative rock bands. There are also some alternative country bands I get a kick out of.

Equipment List:

One straight acoustic guitar. Currently saving for a great acoustic electric and PA, but don't expect to have all of that until next year sometime. I do have access to good rental equipment and one acoustic electric guitar.
