Just for Fun

Christian guy looking to explore some new music venues, maybe hook up with some local guys to do coffee Houses or local clubs. Vocally I can do just about anything from top 40, 80's Rock.. Play bass and percussion and drums. Looking to simply hook up to have some jam sessions on cover tunes, or maybe some original acoustic stuff. Not looking to get signed or anything crazy, just play some local spots and have some fun meet some creative joes to hang with!

Influences:

Kind of all over the place. I lead a contemporary church service and have led for several years. So most of my influences are here. Steven Curtis, Sonic Flood, etc. I thought about doing the Karoke thing, but that seems way too lame, Grew up with 80's hairbands , but my daughter still keeps me up on the top 40 artists... I can even throw some rap into the mix if you want. Style would be somewhere between Creed (to bad they broke up), Linkin Park, Usher and probably my favorite Blessed Union of Souls... Told you I was all over the place!If its in a decent key and I have lyrics, I can pretty much sing anything you want. Not much into the screaming as that pretty much tears the voice apart, but can mimic just about anyone.

Equipment List:

Cort 5 string bass and Fender bassman amp. I have played bass for 10 years but church playing has made me very lazy! I have access to several other items drumes percussion, etc, but my main instrument outside bass is my voice.
