Want to play in a group where members are friends, as well as bandmates? Been thinking you should dust off that set and remember how much fun rockin' and making music can be? Tired of groups where everything is taken a little too serious, or perhaps not serious enough, and the drama that comes with both?

We are looking for someone who is committed and passionate about music and the band, but balanced enough to respect their own and other's schedules. We are also looking for someone local, who plans to stay that way to make this a long-term hobby. We ask potential members to have this be your sole musical project (multiple commitments always make scheduling impossible). Members have jobs and families so we want to get out and play, but within reason. We anticipate gigging out once a month on average, likely less at first. The group's members are in their 30's & 40's, although age is not important (please be 21 or older). Band consists of guitar/vocals, bass, keys, and drums.

We rehearse weekly, typically on Thursdays or Fridays, but any day of the week is a possibility based on circumstance. We play a wide range of cover songs (mostly rock & roll genre 1960's to present - details can be discussed later) and want the set list to reflect the musical tastes of all the members. At the same time we want to do songs that fit well within our instrumentation and skill level of each member, and work from the songs already learned. We also have a few originals in the works. We have a place to rehearse and the gear needed to play out.

We do this for fun, and that remains our primary goal. If you are looking for a working band, where the central motivation is to make money then this is not the project for you. Although we are not trying to get a record contract or get famous, we do consider this a project, and intend to put on a solid, entertaining performance.
