I am an experienced hand percussionist/multi-instrumentalist/background vocalist/lyricist seeking to transcend traditional genres/marketing categories and create original music that has elements of whatever types of music work for the song. I've played every genre there is except hip-hop (and I've programmed "beats," for what that's worth), and I've grown bored with playing "Brown Eyed Girl" for drunks in bars and doing little quaint gigs. I'd rather do something far more ambitious, to the point where people would have to hear what we're doing.
