I am 32 (female) level headed, DRUG FREE-
used to be heavily involved with music for years but took time off to focus on my family and businesses.
Really would like to make music again- for fun. No, I do NOT want to be famous- just want to give music away to have fun and just feel good. It is surprising what doors open when you are asking for nothing in return...
mostly just to have fun. a little about my music history is on my website:
you can listen to a few recording samples on ilike each project listed here is completely different in style from rock, folk, metal, electronica, techno, pop:
I'm very open minded but do NOT want to play covers. God gave us minds to USE and I want to create music, not re-do someone elses.
...not really into "dark" music anymore. Would rather do something with a positive message but I don't mind an edge.
I've become conservative in my experience. LOL
Not really sure what I want to musically at this point- open to ideas- more interested in recording projects than performance but would consider a show here or there. I'm not into going on the road and touring anymore- did that for too many years and I like to stick close to home now.
But if you'd like to shoot the breeze about recording some, I have a recording studio that's been collecting dust for a while and it needs to see the sunshine. I'm really interested in electronic music more than anything but don't mind mixing a variety of sounds.
I can play guitar, bass, drums and do a variety of vocal styles- even opera. What can you bring to the table musically?
NO DRUGS, NO DRAMA!
just for the record- some of the music that I'm really into at present (my tastes change all the time becasue there is so much great music out there that I don't limit myself to one or two bands for years on end... chances are I may not even be listening to these artists in 2 years, but it may give you an idea what may influence me at the moment):
Ok Go, Imogen Heap, Muse, MGMT, Owl City, Yelle, Emilie Simon, Emily Loizeau, Postal Service....
but I like a little of everything so long as it has an upbeat message
a few guitars, bass, drum set (tama rockstar), Roland VS1680 recording studio, and a few misc instruments
