ABOUT
Alex has been a professional musician for over twenty years starting with his all-original rock band PopSuicide, as well as the groups Dick Leo & The Trio, The Big Talkers and The Alex Porter Group. Additionally, Alex has lent his guitar and vocal abilities to rock cover band, Altered EGO and “sat in” providing guitar, bass or vocals with countless regional music groups including The Hoot Owls, The Rascal Theory, The Burch Brothers Band and many more.
Though a bluesman at heart, Alex experienced a tenure performing as the bassist for Nuvo-Retro artist, Jake’O. Alex was responsible for bass guitar and backing vocals in the group.
Alex Porter has performed solo acoustic shows and as a member of an acoustic duo in many forms over the years as well. All contributing to his musician pedigree which has earned him his place in the regional scene. He is currently guitarist/vocalist for The Florida Rhythm Kings.
