Nine Days in Exile is a progressive rock/metal band influenced by Dream Theater, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and Tool, and we are in search of a talented vocalist and possibly a keyboardist.
We have songs written waiting for your lyrics! We are planning on recording a demo/album and playing around the Tampa Bay area at first, and hopefully tour.
If interested in the lead singer position:
No screaming-doesn't mean you can't scream once in a while, but we are not a screamo band.
Equipment-If you own a PA, you will be on the top of our list. If you do not own a PA, still contact us!
Transportation- We practice in Spring Hill.
Know Your Instrument- your voice is your instrument in this case.
Good attitude- At first we are working on the songs that we have already done, but if you have an idea, shout it out! We are all very open minded!
For Keyboardist:
Transportation- again, we practice in Spring Hill.
Semi-Good Gear- Not all of us can have pro equipment. That's life.
Good Attitude-Again, we are working on the material that we already have written. You will be writing your own parts to those songs at first, but if you have a cool riff or idea, lay it on the table! We can add it to the list of ideas, and believe me, its a long list!
Also! We are planning on doing cover songs. No, we are not going to be a cover/tribute band, but cover songs fill up time in a set list. They also get the people who know the song to sing along!.
