I am a old school recording engineer/mastering lab engineer. But I can play just about every rock instrument and "feel the need" to, not necessarily do a "solo thing" but rather a strong ensemble band of great melodic rock which the Phoenix band scene seems to be completly devoid of. Are you with me? Is anyone out there?

(top 3) Journey, Queen, Aerosmith, Foo Fighters, Sabbath, Soundgarden, Dream Theater (just to listen to, not play, fu*k that, a bit outta my league), ACDC, I will listen to the fricken new Backstreet Boys CD then immediately pop on the new Distrubed CD.
