Pretty in Velvet is the artistic dream of Kage and Chris Paul. Performing in other bands over the years (Coven of Hate, Murder in the Dark, Hollow's End, and Scott Crawford) and sharing the stage with the likes of the Serpenteens, Get Precious, The Lost Patrol, and Strange Things Done in the Midnight Sun, Pretty in Velvet encompasses 80's new wave (Gary Numan, Information Society) with a bit of electro ( Mesh, Devision, Assemblage 23) and old school rock (Alice Cooper and Ozzy) combining dark romantic lyrics and vocals, metal ripping guitars, ambient synths, and punk style drumming and creates a unique sound of it's own.
