About

Hey, I'm Alex Atkisson or rather as my stage name is, Jimmy or James Alexander. I'm a high tenor lead guitar player that's been playing for a year and is easily one of the best in my school district. I want to get fame in music, I want to expand and become well known for doing what I love. I don't have time for people who are simply there just for girls, alcohol, and stupid antics. I want to be big, and that will only come with individuals as serious as I am. My home is in Flora, Indiana but I attend college in Illinois, coming back every once in a while and if I obtain a gig I desire to keep, then I will travel home.

Influences

My influences vary. For metal: Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Motorhead, Megadeth, Early Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold, Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath, Pantera, Quiet Riot, Wasp, Motley Crue, Dream Theater, Dragonforce, and Mr. Big.

Hard Rock/Classic Rock: Bob Seger, Led Zeppelin, Rush, Scorpions, April Wine, Budgie, AC DC, Whitesnake, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, and Foo Fighters.

Instrumental: Yngwie Malmsteen, Paul Gilbert, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Marty Friedman, most classical composers, and John 5.

Pop: Sixties, Seventies, and Eighties pop, South Korean and Japanese pop as well as other music that is current in those regions.
