I am a Berklee College of Music Alumnus. I am currently looking for musicians who can play some serious funk/soul/r&b, think Tower of Power. I am a composer as well as a drummer. I conduct myself in a professional manner and would expect the same from other members. I am also very comitted and take music seriously. I can read lead sheets, write charts, arrange music, and capable of leading the band with a solid foundation. I am a "pocket" drummer and I do not do flashy stick twirls or play unnecessary fills and solos. I have experience playing jazz, rock, fusion, metal, punk, ska, mambo, salsa, calypso, soca, funk, soul, blues, r&b, hip-hop, pop, etc... Even though I can play all of these styles I do not want to incorporate them all into this band.

I have been influenced by many great musicians such as: Steve Gadd, Dennis Chambers, Carter Beauford, Al Dawson, Buddy Rich, Tower of Power, Michael Jackson, Isaac Hayes, James Brown, Aerosmith, Jimi Hendrix, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muddy Waters, Eric Clapton, The Beatles, Bob Marley, Jobim, Beastie Boys, Ice Cube, Al Green, and the list can go on. I am influenced by many styles like jazz, latin, rock, blues, funk, pop, world, fusion, and many more.
