I have a very cool industrial metal project with a very cool cyborg/steampunk image, in the vein of Static-X, Ministry, Rammstien, Powerman5000, Strapping Young Lad, Spineshank, ect, with a strong electronic element and erotic vibe. Looking for anyone, male or female, to fill the roles of: bassist/keyboards and synths/programming/drums/samples/vocals/computer wizardry. We currently have 7 songs in the works. Looking to play all the clubs we never could as a death metal band, and sell records/downloads/tickets/alcohol--you get the idea...
We are into writing hit material--simple, driving hooks with heavy straight forward riffs and catchy, danceable beats. A bit of a dark vibe with a strong sexual/hedonist slant. In "real" life, we are jaded, serious, and understand that the music business is in fact a business and must be treated as such. We are intent on creating a product that is fun to play, while having a snowball's chance of paying the bills--we have no youthful delusions and are serious about creating something that can sell. "Sell out"? Hell yeah. When death metal starts paying more bills than it creates, I'll go back to it. At 33 however, we can no longer afford to be so naive...
If you drink excessively or use hard drugs, don't bother. If you can party and hang out without becoming a complete idiot, that's cool.

Equipment List:

I own a 24 track digital studio, a Tascam 2488. Bare essentials, but it works, and we're acquiring computer software to start recording in the next couple of weeks.

Members Of Band:

We are a two piece at the moment. I have 17 years songwriting and playing experience, but haven't been on a stage in a long time, so I'm ready to give this a shot and do it right.
