1970's Pop Music Tribute Show
The Capt'n Groovy show has been described as, a high energy 1970's dance party with an amazing reproduction of songs, outfits and other special effects of the 1970's Dance phase. The Capt'n Groovy show makes you feel as though you've stepped right back into the era of Disco techs.
The show features eighteen performers. Sixteen Of which, are musicians and two are dancers. The group's instrumentation consists of 2 violins, trumpet, trombone, saxophone, flute, keyboard synthesizer, drum set, hand percussion, 2 guitars, bass, and four lead singers.
Incorporated into the show, are song introduction segues narrated by each of the lead singers. The segue's contain interesting timeline facts relating to world events, entertainment industry, sports, cost of living, fashion styles and trends of the 1970’s. If all of that isn't enough to peak your interest, you'll love the two wonderfully entertaining "Groovy Dancers" whose display of authentic Disco moves such as The Hustle, The Bump, The Night Fever Line Dance, The Bus Stop, The Four Corners, etc. will keep you boogieing throughout the show. What's more, is the performers actually go into the audience to interact with the crowd throughout the show. This, of course, creates a totally interactive experience for everyone!
