Hi,
Hello!
I'm a 49 year old drummer looking for a Fantastic band with the goal of getting folks to dance and enjoy the music. I don't do any drugs, and I don't drink much, perhaps a beer or two at a gig. I have a great job, good transportation and excellent equipment. I'm not loud and flashy, I like to leave the spotlight for the singers, guitar players and anyone else who might solo. I'm in the background and I play simple drums. I've always been told that simple drumming is easier to dance to so again, not not loud and not flashy. I pop, accent and fill when the song calls for it and I use dynamics real well. I sing back up and I really enjoy singing (Not at all a great singer but I can do back up).
I'm done playing Classic Rock in an Empty Dive Bar till 1:00 am. I'm looking to join a band that plays dance songs.

EQUIPMENT
I have two drum sets, one is a smaller Rogers kit. The other has bigger sized drums and it's a DW. Both tune up well and sound awesome. Both sound great in and outdoors. I used them both, just depends on how big the stage/venue is.
