I got the bug to learn guitar and music in Sept. 2011. I have been studying rather obsessively since then, on classical guitar, electric guitar, music theory, song-writing, home recording, and electronic music production. I feel ready to join a band to hone my skills.
I have been to Burning Man, to Ibiza, to raves (small & massive), music festivals, psytrance forest parties, and more. I have a variety of music interests from deep, bassy electronica, to punkish alt rock, to modern/indie/art rock, to psychedelic jam band stuff, to bluesy or jazzy stuff. I'd also like to experiment fusing genres (funky punk trance, etc.). Ultimately, I want to evolve music in a direction that takes what is great from the past and extends it in an original direction, with an original sound. I am also into indie film, progressive politics and social change, and would like to participate in film-making (indie or documentary) by doing music, funding, producing, writing, acting or whatever comes my way.
