Chunky, melodic, clean, dirty, acoustic, percussive..... I just like to play. If it is dirty, folky, punky, or the infamous undefinable "other"... whatever. I like to work without pre-concieved notions of what the end product will be and just do it. Short little 2 minute blasts to dragged out 9 minute epic tangents... as long as it has its own energy.
