I am a Guitarist Assembling a very Unique “Experimental Orchestral Post-Rock Group that puts no limits towards what is capable in music. A group that is Very Rock Based but is Orchestral at the same time similar to the Arcade Fire. Creating Very surreal Soundscapes like Sigur Ros and God Speedyou! Black Emperor with songs as long as an Hour. We also can’t be afraid to get dirty as well just like Sonic Youth.
A very Dynamic group willing to try absolutely anything, with meter and key changes all over the place. We could be doing a Hardcore Breakdown one second and speraticly change into a sweeping symphonic texture the next. Anything! Anyhow!

I am looking for:

A Dynamic and Fearless Vocalist that is not afraid to try anything new using the vocals as an instrument in itself. A vocalist that writes simple lyrics with simple melodies everybody can understand, but at the same time try tricks in different languages and styles that’s all over the place.
A Pianist that also plays Keyboard, Organ, and Synth
A Bassist that can play the Electric and the Stand up Bass as well.
A Crazy Percussionist that can make odd meter beats out of anything. Still thinking with the basic Drumset in mind but be able to breach out to a Timpani and xylophone or Car parts and glass bottles. Perferably someone who has Experience playing in an Orchestra.

I see this being a 10 to 15 person group, like a miniature orchestra. I am looking for Experienced Opened minded Musicians, Preferably with a classical background that can write in any style. The more Instruments you can play the Better!
Participating in this group has many musical Advantages. I Teach at a Private Music School in Lemon Grove with complete access to Large Rehearsal Rooms plus a New Full blown Recording Studio with a 40 channel Mixer with tons and tons of Recording Equipment that we have access to anytime 24/7.
We have access to a Grand Piano and Organ along side with tons of other instruments we could get our hands on.
Another cool thing is the studio every weekend turns into a live venue showcasing many different bands, so gaining performance experience is a piece of cake.

So we have our own Rehearsal Rooms, Recording Studio, and Venue! Can you ask for anything more, its almost to Easy!
