I play both rhythm & lead guitar. I have toured professionally for 3 years in a band called God Size Megaphone (aka GS Megaphone). Toured nationally & in Canada. GS Megaphone was on Spindust Records & had distribuion through Warner Brothers and Word. GS Megaphone had been nominated for 3 Dove Awards in the Christian Industry. I'm looking for another band or group of guys to get with to get back on the road, write, record, perform. I want the next band I'm in to be a main stream band. If you have a professional mentality on music, business, give me a shout. You can also feel free to visit me at:

Yes, I'm wanting to start a new band even in the midst of working 2 full time jobs... Crazy? Maybe. But, I'd rather live a crazy life with a passion then not have passion & music involved somehow...
These are the band members I'm looking for:
drummer
bass
lead vocals.

After getting in some band practice, I'll figure out if I want to add another band member. Possibly, a piano/synth player with the option of doing background guitar.

I'm going to hold auditions soon for all positions... I want to get the right people!! Being a family is important to me...

It will more than likely be a mainstream band...

Style wise I'm wanting to have it be in the likes of, or influences by:

Jeff Buckley,

Ours,

U2,

Muse,

Mutemath,

Radiohead...

Some of the music may also be a bit heavier but still melodic ala Tool, A Perfect Circle, Ashes Divide, Hurt, etc...

Music may also vary in Ambient sounds.

It will be for the most part an original band but due to living in Evansville, some cover songs will probably be necessary BUT.... we will do obscure songs... songs that we like, not necessarily songs to cater the audience.. :-D

My thoughts on covers are... if you are going to do them, might as well do the ones you enjoy!

I will also be looking into practice space & cost..

Band member must be willing to tour once band is established...

If interested, please contact me thru this e-mail. Please, only those serious need apply.

If you have some videos on youtube or online of you performing or practicing, feel free to send me links.

Thanks,
Daniel
