Band just broke up and thought I would be done with it, but I still REALLY enjoy playing with other skilled musicians... So looking for a new one to join or start. Nit willing to travel super far for practices bit for the right people I would... I listen and learn from almost all styles of music where someone is actually PLAYING something and enjoy it. Its probably why I love prog so much- a little bit of everything wrapped into a bite size 20min song. Would love to get some guitar at high volumes back into rotation. Not crazy about playing gig after gig, but more interested in playing with great musicians again and then see about recording maybe gigs- a few are okay, just dont want back into the gigging gristmill again.

Rush, Fates Warning, Dream Theater, ELP, OLD Genesis, Iron Maiden, Opeth, Megadeth, Queensryche, Neal Morse, Haken, many '80's hair bands- Stryper, Ratt, Skid Row, etc, I was around for all of that and shred is what i love... I also love some other very weird choices such as I do listen to many other genres of music constantly and there are too many to get into. Lets just say its not uncommon to listen to a Mussorgsky Performance, and then follow up with some Anthrax, followed by some Instrumental jazz. If its good music, it's good music. But as far as playing style, I have a very biased metal or prog side going on.
