The Last Hour is an up and coming Modern Rock Trio out of the Greensboro NC music scene and is currently SEEKING A NEW DRUMMER !! They have a style that is all their own. Formed from a demo CD that Singer/ Guitarist Travis Comer recorded in his apartment with a longtime friend, Travis quickly recruited another childhood friend, Cyle Ritchie on Bass. After getting the project off the ground and name change from the original moniker, Somatik, The Last Hour recruited Chicago Drummer, Ray Mietus. This fit shows best in the music where Comer's vocal stylings and songwriting highlight the best of 90's alternative rock, where many of his Soundgarden and Alice in Chains influences show through. Cyle Ritchie adds driving, melodic bass lines that compliment Comer's songs and are reminiscent of Green Day's Mike Dirnt and Audioslave’s Tim Commerford. Together The Last Hour has a sound that is as unique and fresh as it is a reminder of the band’s roots. With songs like “Prayer” and “Friend?” that are heavy and brutal without being overtly metal and songs like “Vampire” and “Rain” that slow the listener into an almost soothing groove, chances are that if you are a fan of any genre of Rock music, you will enjoy The Last Hour and their powerful, energetic performances. It’s also a safe bet that their debut EP, A Month of Sundays, will find heavy rotation in your CD or MP3 player. The Last Hour is currently looking for a NEW DRUMMER!
