I am a alt metal/hard rock guitarist and songwriter representing a new Christian Hard Rock/Alt Metal band in search of a drummer and possibly a 2nd guitarist.

We're looking for musicians who want to sing about their lives, thoughts and experiences as Christians... "worship" music itself is not necessary, but ultimately it's all worship music if we're doing it for the Right reasons.

I personally want to reach those who haven't been reached... preaching to the choir has it's merits, but there are so many out there who are lost and need a "semi-secular" intro to God's glory.

I would like to get the band together, put together some good songs, record a CD, perfect a live show and gig out occassionally (4 times a month tops, but that can be negotiated), yet shop the CD to labels and big Music Festivals. I don't want to tour unless it's paying... I've done it before. It's not worth touring unless a big label is backing you.

Pretty much everything from Pop, Rock, Hip-Hop, R&B/Motown to Instrumental, Salsa & Classical.

Old School: 90's Grunge/Alternative: Soundgarden, STP, AIC and so forth;

Alt Metal: Deftones Sevendust, Chevelle, Deftones, 10 Years, Flyleaf, Tool, Incubus, APC, Nonpoint;

Eclectic: Team Sleep, Sigur Ros, Portishead, Radiohead, Explosions in the Sky, Broken Social Scene.
