About
I am a guitarist and songwriter looking for either:
1. Hard Rock/Alt Metal band
2. Trip Hop/Indie/Instrumental type band (like Team Sleep, Portishead, Goldfrapp, Explosions in the Sky, Broken Social Scene, Sigur Ros, etc). I welcome keyboards and DJs.
*preferably Christian-based, but if you're into making "me-first" music, I'm not interested.
I'd consider my Rock style a mix between Chevelle and Deftones with my own originality. My "alternate" writing style is close to Sade/Portishead/Team Sleep/Incubus. I'd love to explore either avenue.
If I can find musicians who are truly about making music, I'd consider various projects.
Ultimately, I'm looking for musicians who want to sing about their lives, thoughts and experiences as Christians... "worship" music itself is not necessary, but ultimately it's all worship music if we're doing it for the Right reasons.
I personally want to reach those who haven't been reached... preaching to the choir has it's merits, but there are so many out there who are lost and need a "semi-secular" intro to God's glory.
**To all that, I don't mind exploring other types of music styles.
