I have an eclectic taste in music, ranging from classical to musical theater to rock. I like a more symphonic rock/metal sound, and think its the best blend for my voice and musical tastes.
I can write lyrics, but wouldn't do well as the sole lyricist. I'm a good collaborator more than anything with the writing.
I used to be the co-lead vocalist and lyricist for a band called Onyx Illusion, but I had to leave when I moved back to NY.
For now, I can't be too serious. I don't really have a reliable mode of transportation readily available, so unless someone is willing to help me out, I can't get too heavily involved. But, I should have a car within the next few months, and then I can get down to business.

Influences
My favorite bands/artists are The Tea Party, Ozzy Osbourne, Queen, Boston, Within Temptation,Lacuna COil, Nightwish, Collide, Coheed and Cambria, Avenged Sevenfold, and David Bowie.
Vocally, I'd say I'm most influenced by Evanescence, Lacuna Coil, Nightwish, and the like. Essentially, gothic sounds.
