I am 31yrs old and have been playing rhythm guitar since i was 16, percussion (congas, timbales) since my mid 20's and am an amateur bassist. I am from New Zealand.

I am looking for people who have similar tastes in music who would like to do small, more intimate gigs (restaurants, cafes etc) with a potential to grow bigger. Additionally, performing is not my main bread and butter. I consider it to be more of a part time hobby where a little extra cash may be made.

The down side to performing at restaurant/cafe type venues is that they dont pay well (if at all) as musicians usually rely on tips. So, do as i do and consider this more of an opportunity to jam-out instead of aiming at making a career out of it.
