About

Been playing music casually for something like 10 years now, since I was in high school. Looking to join up with a band that wants to rock out. I enjoy mixing in other genres and making something interesting but I want to rock. Not looking to be in a jam band or anything too mellow (some mellow is fine but I get bored of it after a while). Not looking to play something generic sounding like Nickleback or Creed or anything else that sounds like it was from the 90s. Also looking for people within few years of my age (25). Not interested in being around drugs.

Influences

I have never been told my playing sounds like this guy or this band so I don't know who specifically influences me, but I'm pretty into the following bands: Muse, Incubus, Deftones, Dredg, Rage Against the Machine, Nine Inch Nails, GlassJaw, Led Zepellin, AC/DC as well as many others. I do not just listen to rock oriented music, I enjoy my fair share of jazz, blues, funk, soul, R&B, world, some rap & hip, and some pop.

Equipment List

I currently play through a Hartke 3500a head unit with a Hartke 410 transporter cab. I eventually want to upgrade those to an Eden World Tour head going into an Eden 210 and 115, but I am not spending the money on that until I find a new band I am going to be sticking around with for a while.

I play a Fender Standard Jazz Bass (4-string), Ibanez SR506 Soundgear Bass (6-String) and a Yamaha RBX170 Bass (4-string) which I got bored and set the body on fire and that somehow improved the sound.
