I currently have a 3-track release out on iTunes, Spotify, Google Music, etc. under the name "Tricknology." I have another release coming out in a few weeks under the name "Institute of Tricknology," because a) someone else launch an album as Tricknology a week after mine came out, and b) because I like the idea of a collective of musicians coming together to make new music, and the Institute name captures that -- it's a big lab for experiments and scientists to work out new, weird and essential things.

I'm getting more and more into building electronic tracks -- some hip hop, chill, trance, but mostly weirdness. I live in Ableton Live with a Push, and between that, a 25-key keyboard and my iPad I can churn out some great tunes in very little time, and am looking for someone to collaborate with, either in the studio or live.

I'm looking forward to turning all of this electronic madness into live performances. I grew up playing various wind instruments, in concert and jazz bands, and also have been singing since forever. So I've got a solid musical background and can play a wide array of instruments, and am now applying this stuff to the "new" interfaces we're getting these days, like the Push, the ipad, and a million VSTs and AUs. I also have a set of vdrums that I love to use.

I would also LOVE to find some people who can rhyme. The more you read, the better. I'll build you beats all day long.

EQUIPMENT

I mainly play the Ableton Push these days, it's the greatest musical interface mankind has yet created. I also have (and play) acoustic and electronic drum kits, using samples rather than modeled drum sounds, as well as tablas, a cajon and a djembe. I have a permanent studio space set up and ready to roll in Winsted, CT.
