Those of you who know me know I mix up a healthy combination of raw blues, british and american rock (with a swamp feel), some Texas country and spice it with just a hint of my favorite guitarists...what a combination, eh? Well anyway....like Tina Turner once said..."We never do nothin' nice and easy!" I have been all around this country touring with different acts, been overseas and played my fair share of cool night spots around this area, and still there is nothin like pluggin' in and seeing what will happen!
Just finished 2 years on tour with Kraig Parker (www.thekinglives.com) one of the largest and exciting Vegas style Elvis tribute artists in the country...that took me out through the US, France, Belgium, Finland, Denmark and Norway.
I came back from the last Europe tour and decided to finish work on the my new cd that had been in the wings for a while and had to put that on hold while I dealt with a life threatening illness....which by the grace of God and many friends and family I survived.
Getting back into the swing of things took a little longer than i had anticipated however, i just got hired on by Nashville new-comer and Texas singer/songwriter Tommy Joe Wilson for his upcoming tour....check him out at www.myspace.com/tommyjoewilson
You can find me playing around town in my new band "Doc & The Medics" ..... electric blues,r & b, cool classic rock, a little funk and some swampy country.
