I have sung lead vocals in hard rock bands in the past, I recently performed with a sludge/core band (Companion To The Emporer) I enjoy anything heavy and melodic. I do not feel that any one member of a band is a star, yet feel that every member of a band is a star. I believe that one of the best feelings in the world is when you can get a group together and you just click.
