About

We play uptempo Christian Rock music covers and are looking for good people to join our group. We have gigged twice in the last year due to personnel changes/vacancies. We would like to gig at least once or twice a month. Flexible in regards to practice schedule. We do this for our own enjoyment and the enjoyment/ministry of others. Please join us if you're looking for an easy-going but hard working band to join! We try to keep it as democratic as posible but I (Josh) tend to handle band communications and Bob handles gig arrangements. But anyone is free to communicate their opinions/ideas.

Influences

We have a wide variety of influences. Name any of the rock greats and chances are we're influenced by them, particularly Led Zeppelin and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Many of the songs we cover are from the mid to late 90's to the present, and we are influenced by them as well. Examples of songs we have learned are: Switchfoot's "Dare you to Move", MercyMe's "Blink of an Eye", Kutlass' "Strong Tower". We don't copy exactly what the original bands do but put it into our own style which tends to be more classic rock to metal to emo type. So we are open to suggestions from our members and are willing to learn as many songs as we can do well.

Equipment List

Josh uses PRS Custom 24 and Santana SE electric guitars and Peavey Valve King for amplification. Bob uses Fender Telecaster, Gibson Les Paul, Gibson acoustics and PRS Singlecut Trem guitars with Marshall JTM60 for amplification. Kyle and Hannah really don't mind one mic or another, as long as it works!! We also have a small 12'x12' practice area for light practicing and typically practice at a local church for full practices. Bass guitarist would need own rig and drummer can use own drums or our economy set (which is not terrible).
