The Red Roosters

Piano, Keyboard, Drums, Lead Guitar.

Looking for members to form a new classic rock band to play mainly 70s and 80s rock, some older (Beatles and Stones and CCR, ZZ Top) some not as old (stuff like the Clash, Elvis Costello, REM, etc) and maybe even some newer stuff if it fits. I would also like to play some of the 70s stuff that does not get covered much from bands like Paul McCartney and Wings, Steve Miller and even a few Eagles and Joe Walsh songs. I'm looking for dependable people that have played a lot of music and have lot's of experience but have jobs, and responsibilities outside of music. The money will be good and fun will be had. You must be able to learn songs that you don't already know at home and be able to retain them. It would help if you can read a simple song chart(Nashville Number chart for example). You should have a good attitude and be agreeable and it is important to be on time and that you not suck the life out of everything! This will be a band that does not play a lot of bar gigs but plays events, parties, corporate gigs, things along those lines. For the most part, the gigs will be very good pay. Some will not of course but there are plenty of opportunities to play good paying events.

You can contact me here through Bandmix or TheRedRoosters at me dt com. I love a lot of rock and roll and country and blues that not a lot of people listen to, but I also really like well played classic rock that everyone enjoys and I kind of miss playing that after playing originals and nuggets for a long time now. I'm just really looking for some guys that know how to play well with others...know how a song fits together and take a lot of pleasure doing that on stage.

Members Of Band

I am interested in about all categories of players but mainly another guitar player, drummer, bass player and possibly keyboard/piano. I plan on auditioning quite a few people. I would entertain a female singer as well, but you have to be able to sing harmony as well as lead and have experience doing both. It would be helpful if you played an instrument but not a necessity.

Plenty of gear.
