I'm a product of the 80's hard rock bands with a particular interest in progressive rock, although my interests span rock, country, jazz, and classical. I'm at a point where I'm ready to make music a career or semi-career, so I'm open and able to play most styles and music although I may have to get familiar with it first. The one caveat is that this is a business as much as an enjoyment, so I'm looking for live band or recording projects that are either already paying or have REAL potential in the near future. Studio work is welcome, too. I possess a strong work ethic, am reliable, own good transportation and equipment, and am easy to work with; I expect you will reflect a similar pro attitude. I enjoy original writing of both music and lyrics as witnessed by the audio sampler. I wrote each song and played or sang all the tracks although the guitars were done on a synth. I'm doing acoustic drums on "Misconnected" and "Whose Taboos?" the other songs still have drums played on a synth. But my fingers manually pushed all the keys:-) Covers are fine too if you're a working band. As an added bonus I can read music, really know chords, and have a solid knowledge of music theory... No drugs or huge egos, please.
