Hi there,
I'm looking for one or two people to write and play music with. I've written and played my own music for the last 15 years or so and can play bass, electric and acoustic guitar, drums, and piano/keyboards. I listen to a variety of music but have (so far) only enjoyed writing/playing the following genres: post-rock, ambient, trip-hop, downtempo, sludge, and instrumental. I've recently been listening to a lot of: Bonobo, Arms and Sleepers, Mogwai, Hidden Orchestra, This Will Destroy You, Russian Circles, and The Album Leaf.
I am interested in learning more about musical styles from other people and have played with a few other people off and on for the last ten years, including my younger brother the most.
I'm 28 years old, I work a full-time job as a research analyst, I own all my own gear, I live in Buckhead, and I don't do drugs. It would be fun to goof around and make music with someone. Nothing super serious; just trying to expand the sounds I know how to make with other people that have creative ideas and like to make nice-sounding music.
