Delmar Jones is a Jacksonville based guitarist/vocalist seeking guitarist/vocalists, keyboardist, steeler or multi-instrumentalsits who will complement each others style onstage.
I pulled out of the game a few years ago due in part to fustration and also better $$$ opportunities came my way. After recently filling in on a few dates I've gotten the itch to perform once again. In the past I've performed solo based largely on blues based rock. I've grown somewhat bored with the format and find myself strongly drawn to country music. Clean guitars and good harmonies, but not necessarily of the Nashville pop genre. I am seeking 1 or 2 like minded players to create a dynamic and marketable act. Due to the economics of the market I rely on synth drums/bass. Synths work cheap, they're always in meter and that's 2 less players on the payroll. The format is a mix of country and early rock and roll and R&B.I am extremely committed to this venture with the main goal of earning a good supplemental income though I confess that I thrive on performing.
I believe that well disciplined players require little group rehersal with the polish gained in performing. I am strictly about business and don't want to waste my time or yours.
