Although I am open to other possibilities, like forming another rock-instruments group, inspired recently by "The Bobs" I am currently looking to form an acappella group.

Influences
I am a music-collector who loves discovering new styles and re-discovering old ones.
My specialty for collecting, as well as my major influences, are the varied pop/rock styles from the 60s, 70s and 80s, though there are also many modern artists I admire (90s, 00s) as well as older ones (30s, 40s, 50s).
00s: Eagles of Death Metal, Gnarls Barkley, Beck, Tim Finn, Crowded House, etc.
90s: Stereolab, They Might Be Giants, Annie Lennox, k.d. lang, etc.
80s: Split Enz, DEVO, Talking Heads, Blondie, Pretenders, Elvis Costello, Zoogz Rift, etc.
70s: the Sweet, T. Rex, John Lennon, George Harrison, Michael Nesmith, Nilsson, Badfinger, etc.
60s: Monkees, Turtles, Beatles, John's Children, Captain Beefheart, Donovan, Bonzo Dog Band, etc.
50s: Screamin' Jay Hawkins, Homer & Jethro, The Kingston Trio, etc.
40s, 30s: Spike Jones, big bands, etc.
