ABOUT

Rhoades D'Ablo has been a mainstay in the underground, indie rock and alt. country scene for many years. From the psychobilly rumble of Mustang Lightning, to the goth-tinged rebellion of Rock City Morgue and DAX, the psychedelic musing of The Buddy LuvCult to the Texas Outlaw spirit of Rhoades D'Ablo and the Devil's Right Hand and Matt Begley and Bitter Whiskey, D'Ablo has lent his special touch to so many projects and bands.

A pioneer of punk, country, and gothic madness, a troubador of metal and pop......a true free spirit of rock and roll.

Rhoades D'Ablo has either fronted, produced and/or played guitar with such artists as ExVoto, DAX, Rock City Morgue, Sabbath Crow, Buddy LuvCult, Festus, The Quick and the Dead, Trash Rockets, Mustang Lightning, Mystery Girls, Malice In Wonderland, Dead Language, Mark Allan Atwood, Hellfire Revival, The Gnarletones and countless other projects.

Rhoades D'Ablo has also recorded with and/or played onstage with members of Wilco, Whiskeytown, Queens of the Stone Age, earthlings, The Eagles of Death Metal, The Spores, The Bangles, The Dust Devils, The dbs, Dream Syndicate, Giant Sand, Sparks, Tex and the Horseheads, Kyuss, and White Zombie...........just to name a few.

In 2001 D'Ablo had the honor of playing and co-leading the music of Hedwig and the a Angry Inch for 12 sold out weeks in New Orleans, playing lead guitar and singing "The Long Grift". The theatrical performance won Best Musical and Best Lead Actor at the 2001 Big Easy Awards in New Orleans.

In 2011 D'Ablo spent the first half of the year adding his guitar abuse to the sounds of Jeff Gallagher and the Renegade South, and recording guitar tracks for Don McBride's Red Dirt Rebellion. In June of 2011, D'Ablo moved to Nashville and played guitar with Kara Clark for a short time before joining Chase Alan's new band, who's record comes out in 2012.
