I am looking for a serious gig with an established, working band.

I have a BA in Music Education/Percussion, and I have played most types of music over the years. I am a musical drummer - I play with dynamics, I put fills where they belong and I realize that most things are not drum solos - but I know how to rock too. I have performed as a vocal soloist, and I can sing background vocals. I also play orchestral percussion and pops professionally. I am looking for a serious gig with a serious group. I require a set list or song list for an audition.

Influences:

Stewart Copland, Art Blakey, and everyone in between. I believe that playing one genre of music can lead to improvement in another. On a personal level, whenever I climb behind a drumset, I think of my mentor and teacher Jay Facenda, who was tragically killed in a plane crash. RIP Jay....I'll make you proud.

Equipment List:

Drum set, xylophone, bongos, concert snare, hand cymbals. Also various professional grade orchestral/auxiliary percussion: Tamborine, triangle, claves, castanets, woodblocks, cow bell (need more cowbell), etc.
