About
Singer and songwriter, solid rhythm guitarist. Vocals in the Dylan/Tom Petty range. Good at background harmony. Looking for a solid bass player who plays right in the pocket; solid and simple. Jazz players or anyone with more than 4 strings is most likely not what I'm looking for. Upright a big plus, harmony ability as well. I'm looking to play out 1 or 2 times a month, playing a mix of originals and covers (about 50/50). Would eventually like to add an additional player or two, the main thing I'm looking for is being able to get a song across to an audience, rhythm and dynamics are key. I am a big fan of how early 70s Stones and Rod Stewart could make acoustic instruments "rock". If you know what I mean, give me a shout.
