About

I am a proficient acoustic and electric rhythm guitar player, basic leads, and vocals. I'm interested to meet knowledgeable Americana players that don't need explanation of what it means or sounds like. I like up front guitars, acoustic driven, with crunchy or clean electric equal in the mix. I prioritize tone and space over technical showiness. I would like to find a like minded bass player and harmony vocalist, male or female. I'd like to play local gigs several times a month and have a good day job to earn my living. I have just really stepped up to playing out in the last two years.

I have put up a couple of tracks, more to follow, in glorious low-fidelity. Check back often...

Influences

I appreciate most anything on XM Outlaw Country, but am particularly fond of Son Volt, Wilco, The Jayhawks, Buddy Miller, Jim Lauderdale and the like. I grew up with Country Music at home but like all boomers dug early metal too. My influences run full circle and my knowledge leans towards old country and alt-country rock artists and bands.

Equipment List

I rely on my Martin D28 for acoustic, Fishman amp'd, and have three Teles, one a B Bender, a PRS, and a Gibson 335. I play electric through a 70's Super Reverb, and pedal board.
