Rick is a seasoned professional drummer with over 3 decades of experience, including over 1000 live performances in 24 states, 9 foreign countries, and aboard 10 ships. He studied music theory and percussion performance at Asbury University. He has toured with the Asbury Stage Band (Jazz and Big Band), Daybreak (Contemporary Christian), and The Fellowship Band (playing Rock and Variety for American military personnel around the world). For over four years Rick played fulltime with a show/dance band, playing corporate events, averaging over 50 shows per year. Rick has worked as a studio musician recording drum set, percussion, background vocals, and programming digital drum tracks.
Rick has played many different genres including rock, blues, country, pop, R&B, Funk, jazz, big band, beach, disco, praise and worship, and even polka.
