I've been playing drums since I was 6. I have been in several bands over the years, but because of my job situation, I haven't recently been able to do anything more than play in the praise band at church. I've recently changed jobs though, so I have more free time to devote to a band.

Influences:

I've played a variety of genres. I'd say that my play style is a blend of classic rock, alternative, modern rock, and some funk. Lately I've been listening to a lot of funk, and I'm finding that I'm adopting it into my style.
I think the key appeal to my style though is my diversity. I started out playing classic rock, moved into more modern stuff, then played contemporary Christian / black gospel stuff for a while. I'm not partial to anything in particular, but I can do about anything.
