I have played in several metalcore and progressive metal bands and used to be in one that was fairly big in the albuquerque area. Ive played shows with bands such as: August Burns Red, Bring Me The Horizon, Oh Sleeper, Destroy The Runner, Nevermore, and many other local bands. I have been out of the scene for quite some time now and have been dying to get back into it. Im looking to form a new band or to join one that has the same style of interests. Influences
I love all types of music and find influence in everything but when I write my own music, I tend to write in the metalcore and progressive metal genres. Lately I've taken a small break from writing my own stuff and have learned several August Burns Red songs as they are one of my favorite bands. I have also learned some As I Lay Dying, KillswitchEngage, etc...
