We are lead vocalist/song writer, drummer, and bass player looking for excellent lead guitarist who can hold down both rhythm and lead parts while keeping the songs thick and full sounding. For the right person we would consider hiring a second player if that is a preference or necessary. Our vocalist has 50-100 songs written just waiting for music to be written and played.
We also have booking contacts at several original venues, including Pops, so getting shows will not be a problem once we are ready. Need someone who is patient and wants write incredibly good stuff and polish all material before going into the studio to record and/or playing out. We are just as anxious to play out as anyone, but quality of our product is very important to us and is a must over getting out a little faster and sounding average. We want this to be right before jumping out there.
Also prefer someone who isn’t involved in multiple projects as we find it too difficult to manage around multiple bands and their gigging/practice schedules. Prefer someone who wants to put their heart, soul, and passion into this band with the desire to make it something special, but while having fun doing it. We are looking to not be one Genre or one dimensional on our style of play remaining diverse across many sounds to include some heavier edged rock, to regular heavy metal sound, classic rock vibe, or combinations of all the above, and even some covers thrown in the mix.
We aren’t perfect people and don’t expect anyone else to be, but we desire someone who is responsible, dedicated, and loyal to the project/band, who is easy to get along with, who loves writing and performing original material, and who is looking for a long term fit. Must have good equipment and know how to get an excellent sound out of your instrument. Background vocal ability is a plus, but not an absolute.
