I was lead guitarist for Tom and the Cats, who recorded the hit single "Summertime Blues" in 1966 (990,000 copies sold). I toured for 2 years with The Stone Fountain, a country band out of Longview, and recorded an album and some singles with them.
I've played in 19 groups: rock, jazz, blues, country, funk, R&B, and some bands which had no distinctive category. What I go for is music communicated from the heart. Nothing else matters.
