Older punk bassist (39) looking to start a band in the Boise area. Not looking to conquer the world, but I am interested in possibly recording and playing out local and the surrounding area. My influences range from newer stuff like Beng Beng Cocktail and The Potato Pirates to Misfits, Black Flag, flatliners, bloodlet, streetlight manifesto, chocking victim, Minor Threat, Bad Brains, Negative Approach, Lagwagon,...so all over the place. I have multiple songs written as well as some riffs that need finishing. I have played in multiple bands for over 18 years and have recorded 7 albums. I just moved here from Minnesota, but I'm from North Carolina. If you happen to be a bassist I could probably hack rhythm guitar if needed. I have been working recently with a guitarist and we have about 7 songs ready to go, with some more riffs that need to be assembled.
